Build the warehouse's internal storage tree and assign products to the locations workers should use.
Where to start
What you will see
Build the storage tree
- Open Storage. Select an existing warehouse, or use Add Warehouse when you are setting up a new physical warehouse.
- Select the parent location before adding an area, aisle, shelf or bin with the available location controls.
- Give the location a clear code and name. Keep a bin under the intended physical warehouse.
- Select the new location and check the breadcrumb path. Similar bin names under different warehouses are not interchangeable.
Assign and check inventory
- Select the intended bin, then use Assign Inventory.
- Choose the intended client and exact product or variant. Do not assume a shared SKU belongs to the same client.
- Follow the displayed assignment controls, then review Assigned Inventory for that bin.
- Open Inventory and expand the same product to review its pick and pack location information.
- Check the live picking screen before the next task. Workers should follow the displayed location, not an old screenshot.

Refresh the live work and report the exact visible conflict.

Questions and hand-off
If The location points to the wrong warehouse
Stop and ask an Admin to correct the mapping.
If A shelf is empty or stock is elsewhere
Report the physical mismatch and use the shortage or inventory process.
If The displayed assignment is no longer current
Refresh the live work and report the conflict rather than moving a warehouse mapping.
