Before you begin

Confirm that one connected client store has one current warehouse owner before exposing its orders or inventory as ready work.

Prerequisites

  • The client, Shopify connection, and candidate warehouse location are known.
  • The Admin can review connection health and mapping.
  • The team can keep work unassigned while ownership is unclear.

Stop and check

Do not send work to the floor while connection or warehouse ownership is ambiguous.

A Shopify connection needs a current warehouse location owner. An unmapped active store is not ready warehouse work, even when orders have been imported.

Admin Readiness Check

  1. Open the client detail and confirm the intended Shopify connection is healthy.
  2. Confirm the current mapped location is the warehouse location that owns fulfilment.
  3. Use the visible sync result to confirm orders and inventory are arriving for that client.
  4. Send operators to the daily queue only after the client connection and location are clear.

Expected Outcome

One active store connection has one current warehouse owner, and the team can identify which client work is ready.
