Use this guide when work has reached this point. If the visible state does not match, stop and follow the named hand-off.

Choose the Right Pick and Pack Flow

Decide between a single-order flow and a wave, then pack from current order lines before recording one truthful shipment.

Before you begin

Give warehouse operators a repeatable pick-and-pack sequence that ends with truthful shipment details.

Prerequisites

  • The order is ready and owned for processing.
  • The current line quantities are visible in Order Detail.
  • The parcel is physically packed before shipment confirmation.

Stop and check

Do not confirm packing or enter placeholder tracking to clear a queue.

StoreFulfil supports individual order processing and the multi-order wave flow. Choose from the work shown in Ready Orders. Use the current Order Detail for the latest lines, quantities, destination, owner, and shipment state.

Choose the flow

If Several Ready orders share one client and one Shopify location

Start a wave and follow its consolidated stops. Confirm exact quantities before moving to Ready to pack.

Owner: Warehouse Operator

If One order needs immediate individual work or does not fit the wave limits

Open the order and use the individual processing path.

Owner: Warehouse Operator

If The order is blocked, held, or already owned

Stop and use the displayed hand-off or ownership path.

Owner: Warehouse Operator or Warehouse Admin

Pack and hand off

  1. Read the current remaining quantities in Order Detail and verify the physical items before packing.
  2. Pack the parcel, then enter real carrier and tracking details or use the supported DHL Admin flow.
  3. Review shipment preflight and confirmation results before submitting a shipment.
  4. Treat a local shipment, a label download, and Shopify acceptance as separate states.
  5. Use shipment reconciliation when Shopify acceptance is pending; do not create a second shipment.

What this is and when to use it

Use this to choose individual order work or a fulfilment wave and to take a packed order to shipment review.

Choose and complete the work

  1. Open the Ready Orders view and read the current order state.
  2. Use the wave flow when it is offered for the work; otherwise open the individual order.
  3. Check each displayed item and quantity against the physical items.
  4. Pack the parcel, then enter the real carrier and tracking details or hand it to the DHL Admin flow.
  5. Read the shipment result before moving on.

Questions and hand-off

If An order is already being worked by someone else

Do not take it over; ask the owner or Admin for a hand-off.

If A line, quantity, or destination changed

Pause, re-open the order, and use the current details.

If Packing is complete but Shopify is pending

Keep the original shipment and use the shipment recovery path.

What happens next

The parcel is packed, the shipment details are real, and the order remains open until the shipment result is confirmed.

Expected Outcome

The order has a completed local checklist and packing confirmation before shipment.

Next: Confirm Shopify acceptance before treating the order as complete.

Completion evidence

  • Every remaining line is packed and the recorded shipment has a confirmed result.

Escalation evidence

  • Record the order, packed quantities, carrier, tracking number, and visible sync state.
