Learn why a connected store can still be waiting for data, and when to use a sync instead of repeating setup.
Where to start
What you will see
Three separate checks
| State | What it means | Safe next step |
|---|---|---|
| Connection | The app can authenticate with the intended store and has the required access. | Resolve a stated access problem before requesting more imports. |
| Warehouse location | The store's Shopify location is mapped to the warehouse responsible for its work. | Confirm the intended location; connection success alone does not assign a warehouse. |
| Sync | Orders, products or inventory are being read or refreshed. | Wait for the current job and check its result; a sync is not an instant page refresh. |
Webhooks in plain English
Check a delayed update
- Open Clients and choose the affected client, not a similarly named store.
- Read the connection and location information before using a sync action.
- If a sync is already running, let it finish. Shopify limits how quickly data can be read.
- Use the supported Sync orders action if an order update is missing and no sync is running.
- Re-open the order or inventory view after the result. If it still disagrees, follow the relevant troubleshooting guide.
